North Georgia Couple Arrested for Medical Marijuana Cultivation

A Fannin County couple who was arrested in 2014 for growing 13 marijuana plants for medical use tells their story before the Georgia Commission on Medical Cannabis (Oct. 28, 2015)

Sullivan and Ruth Chainey home was raided after a helicopter from the Governor’s drug task force swooped out of the sky and planted agents right in the middle of the Chainey’s tomato garden — which also happened to contain 13 marijuana plants — and arrested Ruth for manufacturing marijuana.
