On August 26, 2015, during the second meeting of the Georgia Commission on Medical Cannabis the following individuals spoke:
Jake Bergmann, CEO of Surterra Holdings Inc. & Manager of Valkyrie Capital LLC, Jason Cranford, founder of the Flowering H.O.P.E and others.

The mission is to determine how to establish in-sate cultivation, dispensary and medical conditions for cannabis use.

A recommendation will be offered in January for the legislative session.

Today, The Sully Show hosted by Rich Sullivan launched a new segment of the show called “Marijuana Mondays”. The first guest was Georgia C.A.R.E. Project direct James Bell. Each week Sully will invite various guests to talk about the future of the legalization movement.

WXIA 11 Alive has been following the progress of a Georgia family who  sought out cannabis oil to help their 2 year-old child.  James Bell of Georgia C.A.R.E. Project and Daniel Macris of Halcyon Organics visited the WXIA studios to talk about the future of cannabis in Georgia.
